Associate Product Manager, Running Footwear Pioneered the Track and Field category from inception to launch and beyond; initially selling the idea to internal key decision makers, then working closely with designers and product development teams, and traveling to train sales teams on sales process, product details and competitive differentiators. Led sourcing, costing, finance and operations teams to execute product line on time and within cost targets.
Helped establish NB as a legitimate and competitive supplier of quality Track and Field products. Facilitated sales efforts and enhanced consumer data collection and analysis by establishing a “Consumer Insights Program”, resulting in end user-driven products. Increased sales 200%.
Visited stores monthly to improve brand/store relationships. Bolstered international development, serving as category liaison with New Balance-Japan product team.
