Devised and implemented a multifaceted strategic marketing plan that includes in-store training groups, onsite events (road race marketing, etc.), cross-portal social media, website rejuvenation, store-branded apparel, product selection and customer relations. Establishing a brand story founded on the creation of a store-driven, inclusive, and well-informed running community.
Deepened community relationships with medical professionals (including hosting “Medical Nights” events) to build referral pipelines and strengthen store reputation. Medical referrals grew over 50% in three years. Created a network of “community ambassadors” by creating running programs for runners of all abilities.
Developed numerous other marketing partnerships with competitive charity running events to support local non-profits including Eastside Baby Corner, Renewal Food Bank, Jubilee REACH, Seattle Human and Farmer Frog resulting in tens of thousands of dollars of donations. Income for running events grew over 100% in three years.
